Hypnotherapy Cost of a Session
The Hypnotherapy cost of a single session will largely depend on a number of factors and these include location and region that you live in. In some locations a hypnotherapist will charge $50 whilst others will charge as much as $500. In will depend on how big the population center you’re in is. In a small town its unlikely that the cost of a hypnotherapy session will be all that much.
The other thing you should know is that the experience of the hypnotherapist will also help increase/decrease the cost of a session. Someone with 15 years experience, written hypnotherapy books and has a strong word of mouth following will undoubtedly cost more that someone just out of hypnosis school. You should expect to pay more to for someone who has both experience and reputation. However it should be said that the reality of seeing someone just out of school may be more beneficial than seeing someone who has had 10 plus years of experience. The reasons for this are the fact that a younger, just out of hypnosis school therapist will probably have more enthusiasm and ‘get go’. Enthusiasm plays a large part in hypnotherapy and hypnosis. And this is especially the case with its effectiveness.
There is a trap you should be aware of and that is that some horrible hypnotherapists will charge exuberant fees because there are some people that will pay those amounts to ‘fix’ themselves. These are the people and therapists you should be careful of because someone who undoubtedly enters the career does so not for monetary reasons but for reasons primarily around a want or need to help people. I know one hypnotherapist in particular, who has been operating for more than 15 years, has a PhD, and everyone raves about, but she only charges $20. Because she can and wants to see people who need her help. She isn’t driven by money and that’s clear from the very beginning.
You should note that some people equate the cost of a hypnotherapy treatment with the proposed value that is deprived from such a session. It must be made clear that especially with hypnotherapy this isn’t always the case. You’ll find good hypnotherapists cheap and bad hypnotherapists expensive occasionally.
The way of choosing a hypnotherapist shouldn’t be based on budget alone. It’s important that you make contact with the hypnotherapist that you’re thinking about seeing and ask some basic questions such as how long they’ve been operating for, how long they’ve studied for and whether they’re still learning and where they got their training at. This is very important because you want your hypnotherapist to be trained at a governmentally accredited school. Send some emails out and talk to some therapists on the phone. You may want to simply email as some hypnotherapists may try and skirt around the issue as to what the actual hypnotherapy cost of the session with them is
